How to
Laundry is just something we all have to deal with and lets face it… it takes up time and time that you can guarantee your child is going to want you to entertain them in! So why not entertain them with all of the bedding, blankets and pillows that have been pulled off the bed and stripped down, while you wash the sheets and pillow cases!
Here are a few of the things we did with all of our pillows and blankets and it was a hit!!! The imaginative play just flowed and kept my boy busy ALL morning!
A VOLCANO!
We used all of the blankets and big pillows to pile into one big volcano, then surrounded the volcano with pillows which were rockets we could jump from one to the other. Then we used red t-shirts for our lava! Later on some dinosaurs even came to climb our volcano and chase us around it!
A DINOSAUR NEST!
We stacked all of the blankets and pillows around in a ring type formation and then threw one big blanket over the top. This became a favourite little spot for quiet story time.

Find opportunities in every day situations to let your child’s imagination go wild! The more opportunities they have to do this in their own environment helps them to build their creativity.
