Pita Pizzas

- Pizza ingredients (such as pita pockets, cheese, pizza sauce, ham, pineapple, mushrooms etc.)
- Spoons
- Oven
How to
This is such a simple activity and many of you may have done it before with your children. So often we forget about simple activities that are so fun and effective, so this is just a little reminder of a fun, healthy activity to try with your children! Think outside the box when making your pita pizzas, make your pizzas into pizza people, and let them be creative with their ingredients (try and introduce new ingredients your children may not have tasted before.)
Think about this
Healthy food choices: The more children are exposed to healthy food the more likely they are to make those choices on their own.
Independence: The more they practice these skills on their own the more confident they will be to utilize these skills in the future.
Remember to take that moment!
