Hey everyone!

The other day my 3 year old daughter Brooklyn was given a homemade fishing rod and a few paper fish with paper clips attached to them. She loved this fishing rod so much but i felt a bit sorry for her with only 2 fish to catch. We decided to make some more fish together as a fun activity. As she started using the rod to go fishing, I had an idea! Since Brooklyn has recently been very into writing letters of the Alphabet, I thought I could write different letters on each fish. Instead of catching any old random fish, I would call out a letter of the alphabet and she would have to ‘go fish’ for that letter – easy as! It was such a fun way for Brookie to practice learning her letters. At the end she was very pleased with her big catch. This could easily be used with learning numbers, colours, words and so much more! Have fun fishing!
